Chef Mickelson graduated from Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, AZ and holds a certificate in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts.
In 2015, Scott and his wife Jennifer fulfilled a life-long dream when opening their very own restaurant Salt & Ash, located in Orange County, CA. Prior to that, Chef Mickelson served as the Executive Sous Chef at the L’Auberge Resort in Del Mar, the Corporate Executive Chef at The Lion’s Share and Coin Op Game Room, as well as Executive Banquet Chef at The Grand Del Mar.
