Kini Parente joined Hotel 1000 in December 2005 and was promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing July 2008. Prior to joining Hotel 1000, Parente held sales positions with The Edgewater and The Sorrento Hotel, both in Seattle. While at The Edgewater, Parente was responsible for developing and negotiating global corporate accounts and was the President's Club winner in 2004.

Previously, Parente spent five years in Barcelona, Spain, where she managed accounts and developed the west coast market for Hotel Arts Barcelona, part of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Within one year, Parente was responsible for the entire USA group market - the largest producing market for the hotel.

Parente is a member of both the National Business and Puget Sound Travel Associations, and has volunteered with the American Heart Association.

Raised in Lodi, Calif., Parente attended school in San Francisco before moving to Barcelona. She currently resides in Kirkland, Wash. with her spouse and their twin daughters.
