BOKA Restaurant + Bar Announces its 2013 Lineup of tasteBOKA Culinary, Wine and Spirits Events

Variety of hands-on cooking classes, spirits tastings and wine dinners sure to please any palate

SEATTLE (February 26, 2013) – BOKA restaurant + bar in downtown Seattle announces the 2013 lineup of tasteBOKA, its new series of culinary, wine and spirits events, featuring hands-on and interactive cooking classes and spirits tastings.  The program is anchored by BOKA’s already popular, quarterly wine dinner series, Vintimate, featuring some of the Northwest’s premier wines and co-hosted by the winemakers themselves.

Welcome Spring with a nice cold brew, or three.  With so many craft breweries popping up around town we want to do our part to introduce our guests to some of the great local flavors.  Hop into BOKA for a beer experience led by the brewer himself, and enjoy bites by BOKA that pair perfectly with each sip.

tasteBOKA - Tequila Tasting + Mexican Cooking Class

If you can’t head south of the border for some beach time this spring, at least stop by BOKA for our other two Mexican favorites – the tequila and the cuisine!  BOKA’s Executive Chef Peter Birk will guide you through the creation of his favorite Mexican dish while Chief Mixologist Mi-Suk Ahn supplies you with tequila worth sipping and savoring.

Back by popular demand, BOKA’s Chief Mixologist Mi-Suk Ahn is offering another class on the art of liquor infusions.  Join us for this interactive event that will give you the knowledge and skills to make your own infusions at home.  There will be cocktails to taste, BOKA bites to snack on, and everyone will get the chance to make their own infusion to take home.

tasteBOKA - Grilling Class on the Patio

There is no place quite like Seattle in the summer.  When summer arrives Seattleites move outside, which is what we are doing with August’s tasteBOKA.  Put on your SPF, grab your sunglasses and arrive with an appetite.  BOKA’s Executive Chef Peter Birk will be leading a grilling class on the BOKA patio and passersby are sure to be envious as you lick your fingers clean.
