EVENT TO BENEFIT LOCAL NON-PROFIT, Art With Heart

Beginning on Tuesday, December 1, Hotel 1000, downtown Seattle’s premier luxury hotel, will launch its month-long celebration in the burgeoning West Edge neighborhood: “12 Days of Comfort, Joy & Cheer.” Hotel 1000 has compiled an eclectic collection of modern holiday entertainment corresponding to the verses of the traditional carol, continuing its annual holiday tradition for the second year. The beneficiary of all events will be Art With Heart, a local non-profit that works to empower youth in crisis through therapeutic books that foster self-expression.

In addition to the 12 Days performances, which are free and open to the public, Hotel 1000 will welcome guests with snowflakes falling outside its front doors throughout the day. BOKA KITCHEN + BAR will offer 12 Days-themed menu items and Spaahh will launch new 12 Days-themed treatments, such as the Couple’s Dove Massage and Swan Hydrating Facial. Hotel 1000 will also offer a 12 Days hotel package called ‘Comfort, Joy & Cheer,’ for the month of December, including complimentary gift wrapping and Towncar service within the downtown shopping core.

Twelve percent of the proceeds of all 12 Days hotel packages, spa treatments, BOKA menu items and gift cards sold will go directly to Art With Heart. Hotel 1000 will also launch its second annual 12 Days Shopping Passport Program with West Edge neighborhood boutiques and specialty retailers offering a 12 percent donation to the local charity on any purchases made in December.
